Hi, Superstatz! I'm sorry you are having issues with your WiFi connection...
I've been there, done that, and you sound like something is very, very wrong.
So, why don't you first try the obvious? Eliminate all security from your wireless router (turn off the desktop and laptop first, just in case...)
then try to connect your 8125 to the wireless router. It should connect freely... if it doesn't, either the router or your PPC has techical problems. If it does, then you can start adding the security one step at a time...
