My WiFi connected correctly after going into settings... connections tab... connections... advanced tab, and then selecting "My Work Network" (which is nonexistent) as the default service to use when I choose a program that requires Internet...
As a TMobile user, I have 2 TMobile services to choose from, so I simply left them out (I don't seem to have a way to delete them...)
