No you don't need the plan but MAKE SURE you find a way to get rid of the GRP or GSR or whatever it is that makes u connect to the wireless provider internet. I thought I deleted it and when I logged on it still connected and it charged me a bunch of money. If it asks you to connect to it, cancel! I usually turn on the wifi setting then go into the wifi settings and see if it picks up a usuable signal. As long as it sees that signal you can use it without getting charged. i REALLY would like to find away to completely remove the wirless connection but so far i'm clueless...so I just have to be carefull when Iuse it for now.
If anyone knows 100% for sure how to delete it then please let me know. And also please explain it like i'm a 5 year old...easier that way. |
