To answer your question about MP3 files as tones, you can! All you have to do is open ActiveSync with your phone connected, click on Explore, and then navigate to \Windows\Rings and put your MP3s (or WMAs) in there. Then just go to the Phone application on your device and the MP3 should be listed. Something to note however, MP3s will not work for SMS or E-mail alerts unfortunately. If you want to have a custom sound for those tones you'll need to upload a WAV file in the same "Rings" folder. |
