One thing that you may want to do is make sure you are using the latest ROM version on the 8125. I had the original ROM and i did find myself doing a lot of soft resets. The updated ROM can be found here:

It stopped all of the soft resets for me. The speed is still marginal compared to some of the other devices that i've used, but i still like it.
