Hi again,

I've repeatedly tried to get this to work, and I'm getting nowhere.

I know for a fact that the webcam stream from Windows Media Encoder on my Windows XP PC is working fine, as I've tested it on other PCs, and I've had friends test it on their home and work connections. So, it's definitely not the stream that's at fault.

I checked my Network settings on Windows Media Player on my XDA Exec by going to MENU>OPTIONS>NETWORK tab and chosing 'Cellular 384kbps' if I'm trying to connect using GPRS/3G and 'Wi-Fi/LAN (1.0mbps or faster)' if I'm using my wireless connection, and I still get nothing. There's a place for a UDP port, but it's currently set to 0. Should it be set to something?

When I open an MMS stream, here's what I do:

I go to Windows Media Player, select MENU>LIBRARY, then MENU>OPEN URL and input the link:

mms://www.name_of_URL.com:1010

I seem to be able to open static files, such as WMV files (which download, then play), but not "live" MMS streams.

And I'm still getting nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Best,

CDC
