I never thought I would recommend Emoze to somebody, but, who knows, you may like it. Install
Emoze on your Desktop PC and PDA and emails that reach your inbox will also make it to your PDA. And it's free. The site has a very easy to follow setup guide. After it's setup and configured, you will be able to check your email in the field. Its works like a Push Mail service. Your desktop Pc must have a permanent internet connection. Hope this helps.
