Tried Motorola HS850...returned it

I found the Motorola HS850 on ebay for $53 including shipping. I had seen this one at Radio Shack and other online stores for $80-$100, so I thought this was a great deal.
However, I was well disappointed, as the MAX volume on this thing was too low. This made the headset unusable outside, in a car, or with the slightest background noise. Also, I really did not like the fit on my ear. I ended up sending the HS850 back for a full refund.
However, these are common complaints with alot of BT headsets, as I soon discovered via online reviews.
Honestly, I wasn't willing to spend more than $50 on a BT headset, as I probably would not end up using very often. I really wanted to try this for my own knowledge, as I support a plethora of mobile devices at work.
These devices are more suited towards lawyers and sales people, or any one who spends half their day on a mobile phone.
