I recently installed a wifi card in my Asus MyPal. Works a treat, but seems to suck the battery down even when the unit is off.
The end result is an 'erased' pocket pc that activesync thinks needs a new partnership. I don't wanna new partnership, I want activesync to use the 'erased' MyPal on the 'Pocket_PC' partnership already in existence. But I'm told it is in use when I attempt to sync using it.
Next up, I try to do a restore. Lo & behold when I select 'Pocket_PC' active sync tells me it's not a valid 'restore' or some thing equivalent. So perhaps I never backed it up. OK My Bad. But in my defense I never had to think about it before. I've had lots of battery-dead, cap-depleted palms ressurrected by a simple syncing. Programs and all. (these were very old palms).
Am I screwed?
Can I at least sync up outlook by 'forcing' the software to renew it's strained 'partnership' with the erased MyPal. |
