This trick was pubished for the first time at
Todo Pocket PC by the creator of SE_VGA, a very good friend of mine and contributor to my program
Tweaks2k2.
I'm sure that many of you know about ActiveSync Remote Display, a program that is part of
Microsoft's PowerToys that let you control your Pocket PC from your PC while it's connected using ActiveSync.
But I'm sure that many of you were disappointed to see how bad the screen of any VGA device looks in our PCs:
Well, there is a solution for this problem. All you need to do is apply the VGA Brute Force hack from
Tweaks2k2 to a file called
cerdisp2.exe located in the
Windows Folder in our PocketPCs (if ActiveSync Remote Display is installed already).
And this is how the VGA screen of our Pocket PC is going to look the next time you use ActiveSync Remote Display:
