I am eagerly awaiting the announcement of Toshiba's e830. I started to think I should look at the other VGA devices to make sure that I'm not making a rash decision. I began researching HPs hx4705 and it really looks nice. and.....it has a 624mhz Bulvedere processor (the fastest available) and being as fickle as I am....I thought "Why not get the same 4" screen, SD slot, CF slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and the newest gadget...the Touchpad"
I found a nice
review on the hx4705 Touchpad from PCWorld. It turns out that it's not all its cracked up to be. In fact its downright frustrating.

The whole touchpad concept loses a lot of appeal once you need to do anything that requires using the stylus. Since you instinctively want to use the touchpad with your writing hand, you wind up juggling the stylus (and possibly dropping it) when you could just as easily be using it to navigate faster and more efficiently
