Well the trade thing wasn't working out as planned, so I took the road down eBay. Here's what I got:
Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC H3765
Operating system: Pocket PC2002 (Windows CE)
Built in memory: 64 MB
Color depth: 12-bit (4096 colors)
Screen resolution: 240 x 320
Backlit display: Yes
Connectors: Serial Connector, Infrared Connector, USB Connector
Headphone jack: Yes
Input method: Touch Screen
Handwriting recognition: Yes
Voice recorder built in: Yes
Expansion slot: CompactFlash, IBM MicroDrive, Flash Card (All Sold Separately)
Battery type: Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Batter (950 mAh)
Included accessories: Docking Cradle with Battery Charger and USB connection
Dimensions (hxwxd): 5.11 x 3.28 x .62 in.
Weight: .42 oz.
I know it's older, but I got it for a good price and because of one main feature: the CompactFlash support. As it is of my personal belief that Canon makes the best cameras (and I got a great deal on mine), I've got a Canon digital camera and a 512, 256 and 16mb CF cards. And because I'm a total PocketPC newbie, I've got some questions I was hoping you guys could help me out with:
1) Does it seem like a pretty good system?
2) Can I upgrade the OS? What is the latest version?
3) Do they make DivX for PocketPCs?
4) How can I format my television episodes to work on PocketPC? I saw somebody mention this in another thread and nobody answered. I'd love to watch Seinfeld on the go.
5) What are some excellent freeware programs you'd recommend?
6) Any other reccomendations?
Thank you!
