Just a follow-up... yes, I must have been blind, and I'll admit it. I've once again found the patches that I was missing, and installed them both (in order) with no difficulty. For those still in need, they are:
R71183 - System Utilities: Dell Axim X3 ROM Update for Pocket PC 2003
R75705 - Dell Axim X3 System Upgrade Utility , v.040904, A00
Now today I see there's another one:
R77269 - Dell Axim X3 System Upgrade Utility , v.043004, A01
Release Date: 5/10/2004
Description: Dell Axim X3 System Upgrade Utility (patch) released on May 6, 2004
Not sure if I need to run this as well - it may just be the corresponding patch for users with the A01 -- all the descriptions, instructions, size info, etc. are the same as for the R75705 patch, even in terms of how to check for A00. (Maybe it should be telling people to look for A01...) Any ideas here?
