<<This Just In>> MAN IS SHOT TRYING TO STEAL WIFI
Shots rang out in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles late last night as a man killed a passenger in a car who he claims was trying to "shanghai" his Wi-Fi connection. According to witnesses, a man known as Lil' John had just fed three quarters into the 802.11 kiosk at the corner of 37th and Grand Avenue around 2:00AM, when a gentleman in a red '89 Honda Civic pulled off to the side of the road and pulled out his Axim x8i+ and began tapping on the screen with the stylus.
After motioning for the driver of the Civic to evacuate the area, witnesses say Lil' John proceeded to reveal a MAC-10 hidden beneath his Raiders jacket. The man in the Civic, apparently oblivious to John's commands, was then shot sixteen times in the side, and groin area. Lil' John then completed the remainder of his e-mails, and as time expired on the terminal, witnesses state that he fled into the night.
Police arrived at approximately 4:45AM, and the driver of the Civic was pronounced dead on the scene. Lil' John was spotted by police, and arrested at the Fat Burger in Compton a short time later.
