Have you ever uninstalled a program and found that it left a junky looking remnant on your program screen? It's happened to us all at one time or another. One of the more common questions I see among the newer users of Pocket PC devices is how to remove these "orphaned" shortcuts from their Program screens.
As you can see below, I installed a particular horrid fighting game based upon one of my most treasured treats. I don't know why I thought a game download pitting one cheesy snack against another for the ultimate mortal battle would be entertaining...but I digress... :P
Step 1: The first step to remove your bad shortcut is to launch File explorer:
Step 2:Use the dropdown at the top to choose "My Device":
Step 3:Make your way to the "Windows" folder:
Step 4:Under Windows, go to the "Start Menu" folder
Step 5:The first screen of the Start Menu folder shows your "Start Menu" Shortcuts. But our problem file is in the Programs Folder. So choose Programs folder
Step 6:Tap and hold the file and when the pop-up menu appears choose delete.

That's all there is to it.
Any Comments?
