The official diagnoses is "It was missing a distributor cap"
I'll tell you what. I was going to write this up when all was said and done, but there has been NO communication from Sandisk at all.

I emailed yesterday because I knew that someone signed for it 3 weeks ago, but that nobody has emailed or called to give a status report (or even to let me know they had it). I was worried that like you said, it might be just sitting on someone's desk. I got a message back quickly that said coincidentally, "It's scheduled to ship 1/27"
